Business Analyst 1.0’s best feature is a geographical analyzer that presents information in graphic form, which is great for general demographic and geographic information. This application uses customer sales information containing locations and reveals trends and patterns by using national demographic information and SIC codes. It has an easy to use set up wizard including built in templates for pre-analysis and an extraction wizard that offers different slicing alternatives of viewing the data. This application lets you view data in a variety of ways, as well as query and analyze it. Price $11,995 and it runs on Win 95,98 and NT. Unless your data is primarily geographical, demographic, and SIC code oriented you can probably do much of the analysis with MS Access and their tools except of course it would not include demographic population information unless you had access to database containing this information.
