http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/mltc003.htm
One of the most comprehensive and well laid out sites for articles and reengineering information on the web. This site contains full articles, abstracts, overviews, and provides information on where you can get or buy reports and full articles when they are not available on this site.
Reinvention Laboratories
http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm
Reinvention Laboratories studies process change and improvement. This site links to the U.S. Department of Interior Reengineering Laboratory. The Department of Interior is utilizing the reengineering laboratories as a mechanism to find new and better ways of doing things, identifying ways to do our jobs better and faster and with the same or fewer resources. This is a very text based site for the most part but it does include some of the flow charts and government documents being used. Interesting to see real documents as well as helpful since you can reuse their forms, content, methodology etc. Site is worth a look. If you cannot view this site from the direct link than go through the Library at the Electronic College of Process Innovation site at http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm under librarys Service and Product page.
Introduction for Project Managers
http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm

http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm
This Handbook provides guidelines used by the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Information Technology (AIT) Business Process Improvement (BPI) Program. The book is completely viewable online. Contains a great wealth of information how to tips, examples of team charters, a real project perspective etc. This is another must see site. This site can be found throught the Library at the Electronic College of Process Innovation site librarys BBR knowledge page or by using the search function.
American Productivity and Quality Center
http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm
Find more information on key topics such as benchmarking, knowledge management, measurement, customer satisfaction, productivity and quality etc. There is a lot of information on the site. Some of the information requires you to become a member but much of it is available at no additional cost. If you cannot view this site from the direct link than go through Internet Resource Kiosks Links in the Library at the Electronic College of Process Innovation under the librarys Benchmarking page or by using the search function.
Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm
ITSMA conducts original, in-depth benchmarking and best practice research to identify the traits of superior services marketing programs. ITSMA's first Benchmarking Study on Services Marketing Practices provided insight into the factors that contribute to managing a superior services marketing department is available for purchase. Much of the information is for members but your company may subscribe. If you cannot view this site from the direct link than go through the Library at the Electronic College of Process Innovation librarys Benchmarking page or by using the search function.
A Model for Sustaining Administrative Improvement http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm
Has some good sections on the softer side of reengineering such as principles of teamwork simplification goals, and outsourcing and customers rights. It is a good site with a lot of information general enough to apply to anyones organization but one that also goes into detail about one particular project. If you cannot view this site from the direct link than go through the Library at the Electronic College of Process Innovation librarys Benchmarking page or by using the search function.
Business Process Reengineering and Innovation
Great library in the site way too many articles to choose from. Using the drop down menu makes finding the information a whole lot easier (the site isnt very aesthetically pleasing but the content more than makes up for that).
Reengineering Resource Center
http://www.reengineering.com/articles/index.htm
This site has good information in their library and marketplace pages, and article archives. Some of the articles available for viewing include:
Enterprise Reengineering
The Best Ways to Survive Reengineering
Marketwise: Surviving Disasters,
Human Resources: First Stop for Reengineers
Constructing A Proactive Information System

Modeling and Simulations
http://www.outsights.com/systems/
This is an excellent site for information related to the background of process mapping (models and simulations). This site goes into great detail and gives visual examples of what it is explaining. Very step by step and builds from there. Interesting graphics are on this site as well as a variety of articles many of which concentrate on company structure.
Process Advantage Technology
http://www.patech.com/index.html
This is a company site for process consulting firm. The front page has a good diagram of what typically happens when an improvement effort is implemented. They have article such as the "Customer Effect System" article http://www.patech.com/process1.htm under their resources area. That article contains an example and diagram of a process flow. In their Glossary section there is the Process Advantage Technologys glossary http://www.patech.com/glossary.htm this has good generic definitions for many reengineering projects.
Information Strategy
This site is a good online resource center that provides a unique check off box search engine for information on various topics, dates, companies etc. Great tool to lessen your searching time. Included in their archives was one particular article on the "Facts About Knowledge" that I liked located at http://www.info-strategy.com/knowsur1/
Business Process Reengineering (BPR)
http://www.insead.fr/CALT/Encyclopedia/Management/Process/Reengineering/
BPR (Business Process Reengineering) related web links. Some topics include benchmarking workflow, knowledge management, bulletin boards, discussion groups, and consulting companies. The bibliography for this site can also be a useful tool for reengineering material.

This is the Department of Defense (DoD) resource page and the same information is also available on CD. It is a great place to get information about the DoDs own lessons learned documents, articles about reengineering, cost saving measures etc. Also there is a readiness assessment link in this site (http://www.dtic.mil/c3i/bprcd/index.htm) that provides excellent information on reviewing your companys current position. If you cannot view this site it is under the Library at the Electronic College of Process Innovation library under BBR Resources, online, process improvement section or use the search engine.
National Performance Review
Go to Library section of this site there are some great articles available for viewing here. Topics are varied but the best ones are on "Best Practices". The articles are not very well organized so make sure you search through the list.
American Productivity and Quality Center - (Benchmarking Tool)
This site has a great wealth of information such as results from previous completed benchmark studies, ways to get involved in future benchmark studies, and lots of FAQs. There are many best practice reports available for free online. I reviewed one of their reports called the 21st Century Call Center Rep and found it very informative. Check out the download section for more reports online. This site provides a lot answers as well as site links and points of contact to get your company involved in a benchmarking project or benchmarking information search.
Georgia Techs School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
This site contains a list of recent reference books and survey articles on reverse engineering and reengineering. It also provides a list of pointers to bibliographies of related reengineering topics. Use the search function and type in reengineering or a more specific topic and there are many articles available. There is a lot of information available on this site. Below are just an example of a few. Warning this site is a little slow when loading, you may want to view it in text form only. Some of the sites you can link to from here are:
